Setting a Password
You can set a password on a PDF document so that only users who
know the password will be able to open the document.
To save a PDF file with a password, click Set Password in
the Tools tab. A new window will open. Click Browse
to select the PDF file you want to set the password on.
Next, select the Require a password to open the document
check box, and enter the password.
Click on the Set Password button.
Note: To protect your data against accidental loss, Smart PDF
Converter does not allow you to overwrite existing files. It will
append “modified” after the file name, or you can also select a
totally different file name.
