Microsoft Office Integration
Smart OCR Pro supports integration with Microsoft Office.
Depending on your Microsoft Office Version, Smart OCR Pro toolbar
(for MS Office 2003 and below) or Smart OCR Pro ribbon category(for
MS Office 2007 and above) will appear in Microsoft Word when you
complete the installation of Smart OCR Pro.
Using this integration feature you can perform OCR on a document
directly in MS Office Word. Use Recognize button
in order to start the OCR.
You will be asked to select the file(s) you want to recognize.
Smart OCR Pro will process the specified file(s) and the recognized
text will be opened in the current MS Word application when the OCR
process is completed.
